I started watching shortly before Rowan Atkinson appeared.
The parade of nations went pretty well and I was glad to see team Croatia marching proudly.
Sad news is that Blanka Vlasic won't appear on this year's Olympics due to heel injury. She is from Split, and currently one of our most famous athletes.
Another interesting info may be that Split, Croatia won most medals as a city at Olympics in Athens.
Other than that, I think team Croatia will win several medals, like we usually do :)

Thought it got off to a slow start but then took off and was great.
@Grannys_Place - If you're talking about ceremony - I didn't watch it from the start. I started at the end of the literary section, so my only real highlight was Rowan Atkinson when it comes to the part before the parade of nations.
@KnightInCROATIANarmor - Malaysians seldom wins gold medal in Olympic :( It's kinda too high for Malaysians standard. I hope we will wins something this year, maybe in badminton event.
@RestlessButterfly - I have reasons to believe that Malaysian team will win something. I'm not sure what, but I'm definitely rooting for them :)
@Grannys_Place - I liked the fireworks and the lighting of the torch though. The fireworks were definitely amazing and a work of art :)
it is so weird because it is the olympics, and i'm not even aware that it is gonna be held this year...
@maniacsicko - I didn't think I'd be watching this year :P And I already saw 5 events :P

That was a nice ceremony and I enjoyed it.
I had a feeling that Rowan would be doing something in the opening ceremony, I thought when the person playing James Bond, Mr Bean would appear.
I did not stay up to the end, but so the replay this morning.
